The long awaited, highly anticipated restaurant with off-track-betting is finally here! The application for the approval of a 10,500 sq. ft. building in the out lot of the North Park Mall, approximately in the location of the old Denny’s restaurant, was submitted on February 13.

The Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing on this matter on March 12, 2009, and have recommended approval of the site plan (with conditions) to the Board of Trustees. The conditions are related to further enhancing the architectural design and addressing staff comments (mostly related to engineering details) prior to Board action.

The Board of Trustees will likely review this petition at their meeting on April 13, 2009. If approved, a building permit application will be submitted, to enable construction this summer.
