Joeychgo.com Waste of time and money
This is the worst book that I bought in my life. I knew that it is bad but I was imposed to buy for my class in the University. br / br /Beside it is expensive $75.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!, it is worst than any book that worth $10.00!!!!!!!!! br / br /Same sentences are repeated many time and the book is easly tears after a while. br / br /I would to throw the book after finishing the course, rather than keeping it. br / br /It is a nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Joeychgo.com A mediocre textbook
Given the high price of this book and the availability of many other, better books on ASP.NET, a low rating is deserved for price/value. The book has potential, but it needs extensive editing and re-organizing. The instruction is often disjointed, fragmented and confusing. The examples are often incomplete. The text is full of jargon and terms that are used without definitions. The explanations are often circular, such as: "Inserting a control will cause the generated code to insert the code to create the control based on a control class". What? The organization is scattershot. For example, in the middle of a discussion about HTML web forms the author inserts an explanation of If-Then-Else logic in scripting languages. It's out of place, unnecessary and distracting. The reader gets the feeling that the author did a 'brain dump' without much planning for readable structure. One justification for using this book is to gain access to the exercises and the 'student files' on the publisher website that supplement the exercises. The exercises are OK.

Joeychgo.com YOu lost a good customer
I mistakenly order the wrong book and after 2 hours I wasn't allowed to cancel my order. Over the past 5 years I have spent well in excess of $1000 at amazon but will never buy another item from you because of this cheap, unreasonable way you had to squeeze a few extra dollars out of me.

Joeychgo.com A very bad book, and maybe not the author's fault
I've been working through this book chapter by chaper, stumbling through the minor and major differences between the Visual Studio version at the time of this book's release and the recent Visual Studio 2005. Sometimes I could make corect assumptions about how the layout of VS-2005 has changed, other times I came close and could go on in the text, and many times I had to pretty much stop because I was no longer "learning" how to navigate around Visual Studio. I have yet to complete a chapter, which is more unfortunate because the 9-10 projects at the end of each section seem quite instructive, but are ill-use for the 2005 version of VS. This book may be quite the item for a student who gets his or her hands on a (pirated?) version of an older release of VS; but it is pretty much useless for the 2005 release. All of this is to say that I have no ground to criticize the author, but can only demonstrate that this is NOT the text to use if students are to be using VB-2005. The next edition of this book has an aidience waiting for it.

Joeychgo.com worst teaching concept book
I have no choice but purchase this book for my CIS 407 class . This book was a class requirement and it was just so frustrating for me to go through chapter 2 on the first day of class. Almost everyone in class was frustrated with the book too. br /The wording are awkward . Some sentences makes no sense .I was so frustrated and I had to stop to figure it out how all this br /Sentence related from one to the next . This book is the worst book for teaching concept . I decided to bring the book back to the book store I rather spend my $70 buck to my dog Buddha summer camp.
