Good book, a bit one-sided perhaps It seems that not all of our enlisted seem to think this war is something we should be continuing, although this book would have you believe otherwise.

br /It is a very good book, albeit a little one-sided.
Heroism at it's best, untold stories of war, by the men and women who are on the front lines. As I read this book, it really gave me (the reader) a first hand knowledge, (only a glimpse) of what really happens on the front lines. The courage and bravery our men and women have to have to be able to go and do what they do for our country is mindbogglingly to say the least. These are the untold stories our media glosses over that we the people really need to be hearing. I am glad I have had the opportunity to read this book. The words from this book are taken from the men and women who are there now, true life stories of heroism, accomplishments, failures, great happiness and deep sadness. The stories are tragic and also heartwarming, some will make you angry and some will make you cry. These men and women are making a difference with what they do in Iraq and Afghanistan, and they come across in their stories like they really believe in what they are doing. This is a must read to anyone who really wants to know what is going on.

Puts you in the authors body. This book, written by a multitude of authors is phenomenal. With myself spending 13 years of Active Duty in the USAF, and being an Iraqi Freedom Veteran, I can vouch for the realism these brave men and women have taken the time to express for our enjoyment and education. The stories that are included tug at your heart strings and then the next story will have you swelling with pride. Each story is just the right length to hold your attention without being drawn out.
Buy this book If you have any curiosity about being in a war, this book will put you right there. I wish it were longer.
Good insiders views It's good to hear what's going on over there directly from the people involved. It was also good to be reminded of the incredible sacrifice our military people are making for us.
